CHEMICALS IN THE ENVIRONMENT

… providing expert support to chemical manufacturers and regulators

The introduction of the REACH Regulation has meant that the number of businesses affected by the strategic and financial implications of risk associated with chemicals is greater than ever. Expert assistance is therefore required by both regulators and industry – ADAS meets that need.

Cambridge Environmental Assessments (CEA), a business of ADAS UK Ltd, is a leader in chemical risk assessment test tubes containing chemicalsand chemical registration. With many years of experience in the impact of chemicals on all aspects of the environment, CEA delivers a range of cost-effective regulatory services for plant protection (agrochemicals), biocidal products, veterinary and human pharmaceuticals, and general chemicals. In-house teams of experts conduct Environmental Risk Assessments in a tiered approach ranging from standardised, worst-case scenarios to higher-tier more complex, often problematic, conditions/region specific work.

No other business is able to offer the depth and breadth of ADAS services.

 ADAS/CEA services include:

  • REACH
Identification of chemicals affected. Data sharing and management in IUCLID5. Gap analysis, waiver construction, placing and monitoring of studies, exposure scenarios, modelling and assessment. Communication with competent authorities and the European Chemicals Agency.
  • Environmental Risk Assessments
