Pot herbs packaged for supermarket sale The UK horticulture industry faces a number of serious challenges and opportunities.
Competition is driving the need to improve yield and quality whilst exploiting target markets. Pressure from customers is growing (particularly major retail multiples), and a range of other issues have arisen such as imported labour and environmental concerns.
