The ADAS Farming Associations aim to keep growers and independent agronomists up to date with agronomy issues as they develop through the year and for the longer term decision making. Each member is affiliated to an ADAS Research Centre and has weekly Crop Action notes, Spring and Autumn Technical Updates and contact with researchers and national experts. There will also be conferences at or near:
ADAS Rosemaund, Preston Wynne, Hereford
ADAS Boxworth, Cambridgeshire
ADAS High Mowthorpe, Duggleby, Nr Malton, N. Yorkshire
Members receive by email,
~ 30 issues of Crop Action per year, weekly during the main growing season covering all crops.
Two technical updates, one at the end of February and the other in August. These aim to put current research into perspective and offer clear guidance for forthcoming agronomy decisions. They will also cover non-agronomy topics such as biofuels, waste regulations etc.
Conferences and meetings will cover various topics which can be attended by any members. You are not restricted to attending only those at your affiliated site, and all events and publications will be allocated the appropriate BASIS and NRoSo points.
