ADAS is a unique and highly specialised organisation. Many of our staff are universally recognised as industry leaders within their particular field. We invest in ideas from staff on how to grow the business. A flexible approach allows staff to focus on the work they want to do to develop their own career path.

ADAS invests in new graduates
In the last two years ADAS appointed around 25 new recruits through our graduate recruitment programme. We typically are looking for graduates with agricultural, horticultural, biological and environmental sciences related degrees.
Existing graduates work across areas, including soils, water, farming systems, horticulture, modelling and crop physiology. This autumn they will be joined by graduates covering areas from pest and weed management through to livestock production.
ADAS’s Graduate Recruitment Programme offers entrants a two-year training and development contract and in 2011 attracted more than 500 applicants. Shortlisted applicants attended an assessment centre which provided insight into life at ADAS as well as a series of individual and group assessments to determine suitability for the role.
We are keen to maintain links with Universities and educational establishments.
